We still need some more convincing about the 'Ville, especially after back-to-back losses to Notre Dame and SMU. Early-season success vs. Austin Peay and Jacksonville State were at the expense of outmanned foes, and we've got some oceanfront property in Phoenix to sell if you don't believe the 'Ville caught some fluky breaks (enormous fluky breaks) to come out ahead vs. Georgia Tech. The immobility of veteran QB Tyler Shough, injury-plagued throughout his career at various stops, is a bit much for the Cards to consistently overcome. Meanwhile, Virginia seemed to turn the corner last season for HC Tony Elliott, whose team is now finding ways to win ACC games vs. the likes of Wake Forest and Boston College, rallying from double-digit points down to win each. Soph Anthony Colandrea is becoming a more-seasoned QB and the defense chipped in with a scoop-and-score by Jonas Sanker to seal the 24-14 win over BC last week. Play Virginia
