Phillies at Braves
(MLB) Phillies (PHI) vs. Braves (ATL),
Money Line: -110.00 Braves (ATL) (Home)
Result: Win
The NL East doesn't appear to be on the line like many thought when looking ahead to this series, but the Braves can still generate some momentum for a wild card run down the stretch as the Phillies maintain a comfy 7.5 game cushion in the division race. Though Aaron Nola delivered a good effort on the mound for Philly on Wednesday, not sure the Phils can count upon the same tonight from Christopher Sanchez, who did spin a 2-hit, complete game at the Nats on Saturday but whose road numbers all season have been subpar (2-5, 5.53 ERA in 11 away starts). Meanwhile, Spencer Schwellenbach has been serviceable enough on the mound lately for the Braves, with a 2.86 ERA since the start of July. Included was a win over the Phils on July 6 at Trust, allowing just one run in 6 IP and picking up the win as Atlanta cruised, 5-1. Play Braves on Money Line
