Akron is one of the top under teams in terms of margin of cover with their games going under by a whopping average of 10.2 points per game. We sharps jumped on Bowling Green overs early in the year knowing the oddsmakers would be well behind them.

They are now playing a more reasonable pace. After averaging 47.2 passes per game in their first five, they have only averaged 37 in the last three. Four times in their first five their games went over by 12 or more to the closing line and much more to the openers before we moved it. Now they have gone under by five, 22, and 27.

The BG defense has also gotten better since senior linebacker Gabe Martin moved to the Mike LB position. The total is much too high.
