Major
(NCAAF) Oklahoma vs. Notre Dame,
Point Spread: -3.50 | -110.00 Oklahoma (Away)
Result: Win
The Irish remain grossly overrated off their dream year last season. They are dichotomous spread and straight up team. This means if a team is consistently winning outright but failing to cover or losing outright and covering, we ride the spread streak. This has proven to be a way to isolate over and undervalued teams. At 3-1 straight up and 0-3 where it counts, time to fade them again.

The run game has been missing, but the defense was the unit that shouldered the heaviest expectations entering 2013. The line has often been negated, the linebackers clearly miss Manti Te'o and the secondary has missed a number of tackles on big plays that have led to touchdowns.

Just as the Irish are overrated, Okie is very underrated. After a horrible end to the 2012 season, OU's defense is off to a terrific start this season. The Sooners rank among the top 20 nationally in yards allowed (291.3), rushing yards allowed (100.67), yards per pass attempt (5.06) and third-down conversion percentage (27.3 percent). The defensive line and linebackers have looked faster, more athletic and more aggressive this season, helping OU's defense get off to a quick start.

Look for Oklahoma to cover sooner.
