Point Spread: 16.50 | -110.00 Towson (Away)
Result: Win
Towson played LSU very tough last year. Despite that, they were iced by the NCAA selection committee for the FCS playoffs and have had quite the chip on their shoulder. Feeling they have something to prove, they play a poorly coached downtrodden, very middling FBS squad.

Look for the underdogs to do well in the air. Junior Spencer Wilkins returns as the Tigers' top target after ranking second on the team with 32 catches for 352 yards and one touchdown, and senior Leon Kinnard a Loyola grad and former UConn receiver caught 36 passes for 402 yards and one touchdown two years ago. The Huskies have had to replace their two defensive backs and their top pass rusher from a year ago.

That gives them strong balance. Towson junior Terrance West ran for 1,051 yards as a sophomore, after rushing for almost 1,300 yards and scoring 29 touchdowns as a freshman.

Towson returns 15 starters from a team that went 7-4 a year ago, barely missing the playoffs after winning its final four games, three against ranked FCS teams
