UNLV took Minnesota to triple overtime. They return 19 starters and more than want to avenge a team they were dead even with. The Gophers quarterback corps is the second youngest and most inexperienced (seven games) group in the country. The Rebels are strong starters, winning 3-of-4 straight up before Labor Day.

As it turns out, the weather will actually benefit the road team. It is expected to be about 90-degress at kickoff, more what the Rebels are used to. UNLV, on the other hand, hired a new offensive coordinator this offseason and buzz behind the coaching change is that the Rebels could employ an up-tempo no huddle offense Thursday. That pace, combined with a 91-degree forecast at kickoff, could wear down the Minnesota defense.

This potential up-tempo style offense that UNLV runs is different from the typical Big Ten offense.
