Holy Cross matches up very well against transition defenses as shown against Bucknell and Army. They have been working the ball around in a Princeton style offense getting good lucks. Now their shooting is down pat.

The 1-3-1 defense HC uses is unlike any Southern has seen nor an offense like Holy Cross. Southern likes to get to the rim on dribble drives but Holy Cross forces defenses outside. For Southern to have a chance, they will need to hit jumpers, but that is not what they do well.
