San Diego will debut highly touted rookie Melvin Gordon. Gordon said before the draft he would like the Cowboys to select him. Gordon has made nine of the 10 practices in training camp. He stretched with the team before and after the practice he sat out, on Aug. 2. He has looked fit.

The runs plays he has practiced with the Chargers, he said, are similar to those he ran at Wisconsin. He will be motivated and ready.
