Duke has gone under 8-1, six by at least 13. This is no fluke. Coach K went to a smaller line-up and has all of a sudden stopped teams penetrating to the rim. Justise Winslow has gotten more playing time and the results have shown up on defense. Quinn Cook has improved substantially on the defensive end.

MSU is taking great care of the ball, which means the improved Duke defense will not mean more fast break points off steals, but does mean the Spartans will struggle getting good looks.
