We like Aldo here as he has exceptional striking, especially devastating leg kicks, as well as his strong takedown defense. He combines Muay Thai striking with Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which makes him a tough matchup for Bautista. He comes in off winning by unanimous decision over Johnathan Martinez on May 4th, and we think he should actually be favored here. Bautista has a background in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and kickboxing, but Aldo has been around the block and we like Aldo with the experience here.
