The highly anticipated matchup between No. 2 Georgia (3-0, 1-0 SEC) and No. 4 Alabama (3-0, 0-0 SEC) is set for Saturday as these two SEC powerhouses meet for the 74th time. Both teams come into the game undefeated, with Georgia already having one conference win under its belt. This rivalry has been one of the most storied in college football, with Alabama historically leading the series, but Georgia has recently emerged as a dominant force, especially after winning two consecutive national championships.
Georgia has an elite defense, but they have struggled offensively as referenced by that Kentucky game, but we think that they really focus on the run here and they rush for 146 yards a game, and they really want to get that going to help the passing & playaction game - What is importanat is all is not lost for the loser, whoever loses still has a great shot to make the CFP - But big time seeding implications here - Carson Beck is a decent QB, a little more of a game manager than most thought he would be, and Jalen Milroe has been great, still hasn't thrown a pick, 207 QBR, he runs for about 60 ypg as well - We think Kalen DeBoer has his guys ready at home here and we like the Tide, getting points with Bama at home is something we handly ever get to do, and we like the Crimson Tide.
