The Wolverines (13-1 in 2022) don't figure to miss Harbaugh, who serves the first of a school-imposed three-game punishment for his role in NCAA violations involving recruiting and coaching time. Defensive coordinator Jesse Minter will run the Wolverines against the Pirates, who posted an 8-5 record last year. Yes it's a huge number to lay, and yes Harbaugh is suspended, but we think that is exactly why the Wolverines will run away here. J.J. McCarthy is an experienced QB, has great wide receivers outside and the RB duo of Blake Corum, and Donovan Edwards will be hard for East Carolina to stop. This might be the best team Harbaugh has had, and we think his players will relish to "ball out" so to speak without him having to give a pregame speech. Let's roll with Michigan.
