I like the Philadelphia Phillies to win this game against the New York Yankees on Wednesday. You may look at the stats from the first games of these two pitchers and think I'm an idiot. However, I'm here to tell you that the Phillies are for real and they are just getting started. Let's not forget, this team made the World Series last year. I know they are without Harper right now and that Hoskins is out for the season. But, they've brought in one of my favorite players in all of baseball in Trae Turner. Scharwber finally got in the HR department in yesterday's game, one which he owned last year, and I expect him to bring that momentum into this one. Facing a power fastball pitcher in Cole, I expect the Phillies to get to him and get to him early. Nola didn't have the best opening pitching performance, but without a loss on his name, this is basically a fresh start. He's also pitched very well against the Yankees in the past. Cole is a good pitcher, but he gets rocked from time to time. I believe that this will be one of those times.
