T.M. Selection: Rays/Reds UNDER.

I am on the under in the Tampa Bay Rays vs Cincinnati Reds game on Friday. Shane McClanahan (9-3, 1.74 ERA) is up for the Rays here and he has been great all year, not giving up many runs in a majority of his starts. He has started in 11 games in a row now without giving up more than 2 earned runs and he has pitched in 6+ innings in all of those starts. He pitched 7 innings in both of his 2 most recent starts and I'm expecting another great outing from him here against 1 of the worst offenses in the league. I see him pitching deep into this game and not giving up many runs either, and the Rays bullpen has also been great so I don't see the Reds putting up a lot of runs here if any. Luis Castillo (3-4, 3.09 ERA) is up for the Reds here and he has looked really good all year too though. He has only given up 1 run total in his 2 most recent starts, pitching 6+ innings in both of those starts. I think he is going to continue his great pitching as of late and he has also been going deep into his starts so I expect a low scoring game here with close to no runs by the time the bullpens get in this game. I like the under in this game.
