The Ottawa Senators and the Columbus Blue Jackets will be battling it out tonight as both teams will try to end their respective two game losing streaks. Neither team is packed with offensive talent and I expect to see a defensive battle in tonight's contest.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Blue Jackets Injuries - Brandon Dubinsky, Boone Jenner and Nathan Horton were already injured as Nick Foligno had to leave Sunday's 5-2 loss against the Kings on a stretcher. You can tell the injuries are taking their toll, with the team only producing two goals over the last three games.

2. Strong Penalty Killing - Both teams are doing just fine killing penalties this season, with the Senators showing a nearly 79% kill rate and the Blue Jackets successfully killing 83.3% of theirs. They may not be tested too much tonight with both teams ranking in the bottom half regarding shots on goal.

3. X-factor - All of the last four meetings have gone under the total, which also is true for all of the Senators last eight on the road.
