At 9:00pm ET, my Flea Flicker is on Northwestern. Two 1-0 teams collide here, and only one will leave with a perfect record. In my estimation, home-field advantage can't be overlooked as a very real deciding factor in this one. The Wildcats held on for the 13-6 win at home over Miami Ohio as a three-point favorite, while Duke posted the uninspiring 26-3 home victory over Elon as a -24.5-point favorite. The Blue Devils have a new coach here in Manny Diaz and while Duke came out on top at home, I believe they'll struggle in their first away game. Duke's Maalik Murphy is still adjusting to Jonathan Brewer's air-raid system and I think he'll struggle to match Mike Wright at home. Wright passed for 178 yards last week and added a game-high 65 rushing yards as well. Duke saw a ton of player turnover in its defense in the offseason and I say that becomes really apparent here on the road in Week 2 against a much tougher opponent. Look for Northwestern's balance down the stretch to prove to be the difference-maker in the outcome of this one.
