They can't afford to drop three of four to the Mets, a team chasing them for the final Wild Card spot. Still on a super run this summer, the Padres will get back on track this afternoon. Martín Pérez has been a tremendous acquisition. In 4 starts for the Padres, he has allowed 3 or fewer runs every time, a total of just 7 runs. He has a 2.74 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in a San Diego uniform. New York fans won't be pleased to see Pérez.In 9 career appearances against the Mets, Pérez is 4-0. He's 3-0 in 5 starts against them with a 2.81 ERA. Quintana has stunk up the joint all month. He is 0-3 with a 8.27 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in four August starts. Play on San Diego
