Rogers' 10* TOP ATTACK DOG
(NFL) Cleveland vs. Miami,
Point Spread: 10.00 | -117.00 Cleveland (Away)
Result: Win
Cleveland: The Browns have not only opened the 2016 season 0-2 but lost starting QB Robert Griffin III in Week 1 and then backup Josh McCown in Week 2. Rookie third-round pick Cody Kessler (out of USC) now makes the start and believe it or not, becomes the fifth different QB to start for the Browns over the team's last five regular season games. Then again, this is the Browns, so most will believe it! The Browns have averaged just 15.0 PPG through two games with the lone bright spot being RB Isaiah Crowell. He had 133 yards last week, including an 85-yard TD run, giving him a rushing TD in five of his last six games. Cleveland's defense has allowed 27.0 PPG, ranking 25th.

Miami: The Dolphins lost up in Seattle just 12-10 in Week 1, as the offense couldn't match the play of its defense. Tannehill and Co. totaled just 214 yards on 11 FDs (Dolphins converted just 3 of 14 3rd downs and were 0-1 in their lone 4th-down try). Miami then allowed New England's Jimmy Garrapolo to lead the Pats to three straight TD drives (on three TD passes), eventually falling behind 24-0. Miami made the final more respectable losing 31-24 but an 0-2 start is no way for first-year head coach Adam Gase to open his career.

The pick: Gase makes his home debut in the Dolphins' first game at renovated Hard Rock Stadium, which underwent a $500 million renovation in the offseason. The good news is the Browns are the opponent and Cleveland has lost 10 of its last 11 road games. However, the Browns have shown an ability to run (132.5 YPG ranks 8th) and Miami's rush D ranks 31st, allowing 136.5 YPG. Sadly, Miami's leading rusher is QB Tannehill (with 52 yards), as the Dolphins rank 27th in rushing (67.0 YPG). The Browns are the Browns and will be starting a rookie QB but look at these numbers for Miami. The Dolphins have failed to cover six of the past seven times they've been home chalk for their first game and are a woeful 3-14 ATS in their last 17 AFC matchups. Taking the Browns with this huge pointspread is a 10* play.
