(MLB) Minnesota vs. Kansas City,
Money Line: -140.00 Kansas City (Home)
Result: Win
8* play on Kansas City Royals.

The Kansas City Royals have yet to experience anything like a World Series hangover, winning two of three to start the season. They host the Twins in Game 2 of this series at Kauffman Stadium tonight, and I think the price is more than reasonable to back the home team.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Ian Kennedy will make his debut for the Royals, as he's recovered from a hamstring injury that pushed back his first scheduled start. The right-hander has a career ERA of 3.98, but the Royals like what they see as they signed him to a 70 million dollar deal in the off-season. Tommy Milone will get the call for the Twins, and this looks like a tough spot for the lefty.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Lorenzo Cain has had plenty of success against Milone, batting .348 with a home run and three RBIs. Alex Gordon, Eric Hosmer, Omar Infante, Kendrys Morales and Mike Moustakas have all hit home runs against Milone.

3. X-Factor - The Twins are 20-42 in the last 62 meetings in this series.

Selection: This is a play on the Kansas City Royals (8*)
