Wednesday's meeting with the Vancouver Canucks will mark the Edmonton Oilers' last home-game played at classic Rexall Place before moving to Rogers Place next season. I think they'll rise to the occasion and deliver a win for the home fans to celebrate tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Let Down Spot - The Nucks are riding a rare winning streak coming off wins against the NHL's three California teams. A fourth consecutive win would be a tough ask for a team with nothing to play for.

2. Todd McLellan - The Oilers' head coach did not hold back after the most recent defeat. "We were outshot, we were outhit, we were outscored, out-faceoffed, out-power played, out-penalty killed," McLellan said following Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Flames which marked the clubs 11th defeat in its last 14 at Rexall Place. He should have his players extremely motivated for this contest.

3. X-Factor - Edmonton has won two of three meetings this season and shut out the Nucks in a 2-0 win here at Rexall Place on March 18.
