The Pittsburgh Penguins will be looking to rebound from a 3-0 defeat to the Rangers Wednesday as they visit the Carolina Hurricanes Friday night. They've played some positive hockey of late though, and I expect a high-scoring contest at PNC Arena.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Penguins' Offense - Pittsburgh had averaged four goals per game over its last seven prior to getting shut out Wednesday. Sidney Crosby scored at least once in each of those seven contests and has five points in three meetings with the Canes so far this season.

2. Marc-Andre Fleury - The Penguins netminder shut out Carolina in a 5-0 win on Jan. 17, but he had posted a 3.14 GAA through six previous meetings dating to December 2013.

3. X-Factor - The over is 7-2-3 in the Penguins last 12 overall.
