*10* SURE SHOT on Houston Rockets.
The Golden State Warriors cashed in their second loss of the season when they were blown away 114-91 at Dallas last night. They were forced to play without the NBA's leading scorer and reigning MVP Stephen Curry who is likely to be a miss tonight as well, and that's one of the reason's why I like the Houston Rockets in tonight's match-up.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Situational - The Rockets defeated Texas rivals San Antonio 88-84 last Friday but have lost back-to-back games to New Orleans and Atlanta since. They're facing the Spurs again Saturday, and odds are they'll want to come into that game with as much momentum as possible, and what would give a bigger boost in confidence than getting a result against the mighty Warriors?
2. Steph Curry's Absence - Klay Thompson really struggled without his splash brother and scored only 10 points on 4-of-15 shooting from the field while back-up PG Shaun Livingston had just eight points in last night's loss.
3. X-Factor - The Rockets are 6-1 ATS in their last seven at home.
Selection: This is a play on the Houston Rockets (10*)
