The Temple Owls were undefeated prior to hosting the Notre Dame Irish on October 31. The Irish rallied to come from behind in the fourth quarter to win that game by a score of 24-20, but it was still an impressive result for Temple. They play the Houston Cougars in the AAC Championship Game, and I like the visitors getting points.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Common Opponents - The Cougars lost to Connecticut, trailed Memphis by 20 in the fourth quarter of a 35-34 comeback win, and beat Cincinnati by a field goal. Temple beat those three teams by a combined 51 points.

2. Temple Defense - The Owls rank 16th nationally in total defense, allowing opponents to average just 18.8 points per game during the season. They held Connecticut to just three points in a 27-3 home win last week.

3. X-Factor - The Owls are 5-1 ATS in their last six versus a team with a winning record, and they have covered the spread in five of their last seven road games.
