The Anaheim Ducks and the Vancouver Canucks need to pick up pace if they're not to miss out on the playoffs this season. Neither team have impressed in the defensive zone with both conceding a fair amount of goals, and I think we'll see a high-scoring tilt at the Duck Pond tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Goaltending - Anaheim's Frederik Andersen is unlikely to take the ice tonigth as he recovers from the flu. John Gibson has tended the net in the Ducks last two games with six goals allowed on 65 shots. The Nucks Ryan Miller has had a rough month of November so far, posting a 2.80 GAA with a .902 SV% over 10 starts.

2. Special Teams - The Ducks have gone 4-for-8 on the man advantage over their last three games, but the Nucks are even better with 11 power play goals over their last eight games.

3. X-Factor - Daniel Sedin has six goals and six assists during a seven-game point streak.
