*9* SPECIAL on New England Patriots.
The New England Patriots appear to be in a tough spot on the road at Denver on Sunday night, but this team has proven all year long that it can overcome adversity. The Broncos are still facing an undefeated opponent with an inexperienced quarterback under center. My money is on Tom Brady and Bill Belichick to find a way to keep the streak alive.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Patriots have won four of the last five meetings in this series outright, and they've covered the spread in five of their last six versus Denver. The Broncos have failed to cover in four of their last five overall.
2. Tom Brady - There's no doubt he's the best quarterback in the NFL, and he manages to put up big numbers year after year no matter who his receivers are. He threw for 277 yards and a TD last week despite missing two of his top targets. Expect Brady to out-play Osweiler here tonight.
3. X-Factor - The Patriots are 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 games in November.
Selection: This is a play on the New England Patriots (9*)
