The Coach's NHL Saturday Night SURE SHOT
(NHL) Minnesota vs. Dallas,
Money Line: -140.00 Dallas (Home)
Result: Win

Result: Win
The Minnesota Wild have won all three match-ups with the Dallas Stars so far this season, but they'll be put to a much bigger test than in the previous meetings tonight. The reborn Stars have won eight of their last nine, and will come into this contest looking to secure a fourth straight win. The Wild on the other hand have looked less than impressive over recent games, and I think we're getting a fair price on the home team here.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Situational/Motivational - The Stars are sitting sixth in the Central Division after a slow start, trailing the Wild in fifth by one point. They're 1-7-3 against division opposition for the season, and this is a terrific spot to hurt a division rival and at the same time overtake them in the standings.
2. Home Cookin' - The Stars have won three of their last four at home and the Wild have won only five of the last 27 match-ups in Dallas.
3. X-Factor - Dallas is 5-for-11 on the power play over its last three games while Minnesota is 5-for-9 on the penalty kill over the same span.
Selection: This is a play on the Dallas Stars (8*)
