The Penn State Nittany Lions are back in a bowl game after serving half of a four year post-season ban. They play the Boston College Eagles in the Pintstripe Bowl Saturday, and I like the Eagles to win this game behind a superior offense.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Quarterbacks - Christian Hackenberg threw almost twice as many INTs (15) as he did TDs (8) during the regular season. In his final four starts of the season, he was picked off five times with just one TD. The Eagles dual threat QB Tyler Murphy ran for an ACC record 1,079 yards this season.
2. Momentum - The Eagles won their final game of the regular season in impressive fashion, beating the Syracuse Orange by a score of 27-8. Penn State lost it's last two games, and six of it's last eight.
3. X-Factor - The Eagles are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on grass.
Selection: This is a play on the Boston College Eagles (8*)
