The Coach's NHL Thursday SURE SHOT - Ducks@Habs
(NHL) Anaheim vs. Montreal,
Total: 5.50 | 127.00 Over
Result: Win
The Anaheim Ducks are coming to Montreal to take on the Canadiens on the back off a 6-2 loss at Toronto Tuesday. The Canadiens have opened a five game home-stand with three straight wins over which they've conceded only four goals. Both teams have performed well on offense lately, but with two quality goaltenders I think this game is more likely to stay under the total.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Goaltending - Fredrik Andersen conceded four goals on 20 shots against the Maple Leafs his last time out, but had been outstanding in the games leading up to that performance allowing only four goals on 75 shots over the three games prior. Four is also the amount of goals Carey Price has conceded over his last four games, while stopping 84 shots.

2. Trends - Only two of the Canadiens last six games have seen five goals or more and the under is 5-1 in their last six at home hosting a team with a road winning percentage over .600.

3. X-Factor - The Canadiens have the seventh best penalty kill unit in the league, conceding a goal on less than 15% of their shorthanded situations.

Selection: This is a play on ANA@MTL to go under the total (8*)
