The Atlanta Braves are a rather sizable favorite in this matchup with the Arizona Diamondbacks, but I think they'll prove well worthy of the price we're asked to pay.

Arizona right-hander Luke Weaver (1-1, 3.78 ERA) was knocked around to the tune of four runs on eight hits in four innings of a 6-2 loss to Washington in his last start. Weaver is 1-1 with a 4.86 ERA in three career starts against the Braves. Additionally, Atlanta may get slugger Ronald Acuna Jr. back in the lineup for this matchup after recovering from an abdominal strain.

Atlanta hands the ball to right-hander Huascar Ynoa (0-1, 3.94 ERA) for his first career appearance against the Diamondbacks. Ynoa was also smacked around in his last start, but he had allowed only one run on five hits with 15 Ks through 11 innings in his first two starts of the season.

The Diamondbacks have won five straight following a dramatic extra-inning win at Cincinnati yesterday. I think they'll come crashing down Friday night.
