Red Sox righty Nathan Eovaldi (1-1, 1.46 ERA) is coming off a pair of solid starts in 2021, but note his 5.05 ERA in seven career starts against Minnesota.

Twins righty Kenta Maeda (1-0, 2.61 ERA) has only one career start against Boston with a 0-1 record and a 4.76 ERA. However, in two starts on the season, Maeda has allowed only three earned runs with 11 Ks over 10 1/3 innings of work this season.
