The New York Yankees put 22 runs on the board through their 2-0 sweep of the Tribe in the Wild Card round. I like them to open this best-of-five AL Division Series against Tampa Bay with a win.

Tampa Bay left-hander Blake Snell (4-2, 3.24 ERA) faced the Yankees twice during the regular season and gave up three runs on four hits and four walks through eight innings.

Yankees right-hander Gerrit Cole (7-3, 2.84 ERA) has been lights out all season, but even more so in recent outings recording 37 Ks through his last 28 innings of work. His numbers against Tampa Bay this season are mediocre at best (4.96 ERA in three starts), but I expect Cole to be more focused here in the postseason.

The Rays won the division and dominated the regular season series against the Yankees, winning eight of the 10 matchups. The betting market is still making the Bronx Bombers the favorite here, and for a good reason.
