The New York Mets are slumping and yesterday's 9-5 setback here in Baltimore made it five losses in a row. The Orioles on the other hand have recorded back-to-back wins following a five-game skid of their own, and I like the price we get on Baltimore in this matchup.

Mets righty Michael Wacha (1-2, 7.41 ERA) has allowed four runs or more in three consecutive starts. Last time out, he was tagged with four runs on six hits by the Yankees.

Baltimore has lost each of southpaw John Means' (0-2, 8.59 ERA) five starts on the season, but last time out he gave up "only" two runs, over four innings at Toronto. Also, the Mets are hitting a weakish .237 against left-handers.
