The Colorado Avalanche have looked terrific and only needed five games to get past Arizona in the last round. They probably could've/should've got it done in three games as they outshot the Yotes 51-21 in their Game 3 loss.

With a 14-2 goal differential over the final two games of the series, it's hard to find an argument NOT to back the Avs here against a Dallas side that didn't look all that impressive against Calgary.

The Stars seven unanswered goals to come back from a three-goal deficit to clinch the series in Game 6 will fool some bettors that Dallas is actually on the Avs level, but I'm not falling for it. Lay the juice with Colorado.
