The Denver Nuggets needed overtime to take care of Utah in the opener of this Western Conference quarter-finals playoff series. I think they'll have an easier ride today to win and cover the spread as a favorite.

Utah star Donovan Mitchell had a historic game with a career-best 57 points on 19-of-33 shooting. Still, the Jazz didn't win and Mitchell can't be expected to carry the team on his back every game of the series.

Denver is banged up, but it still has decent roster depth and Nikola Jokic showed that he's a better big than Utah's Rudy Gobert.
