The Cléveland Indians and the Detroit Tigers combined for 15 runs in the opener of this three-game series on Friday. I think runs will be a lot harder to come by for both teams in Game 2.

Cleveland righty Shane Bieber (3-0, 1.63 ERA) has allowed a total of only five runs on 16 hits with 43 Ks through 27 2/3 innings of work on the season. Odds are we'll see more of the same here as he owns a sharp 2.28 ERA in four career starts against the Tigers.

As for Detroit starter Spencer Turnbull (2-0, 2.00 ERA) and his bloated 5.52 ERA in seven career meetings with Cleveland, I'm not all that worried. Turnbull has shown he's a much better pítcher this season and Cleveland has one of the worst runs-scored-per-game averages in the major leagues.
