The Dallas Stars tied up this best-of-seven opening-round set at 1-1 with a win Thursday night. This sets up a great spot to back the Flames to regroup and retake the lead tonight.

"It's great to be able to play tomorrow and put this one behind us," captain Mark Giordano said. "Listen, it was 4-4 with a minute left. I thought a lot of guys deserve a lot of credit for getting us back into that game late, but it didn't go our way at the end."

Calgary was certainly in the game and rallied back from deficits multiple times yesterday. It will be tough for Dallas to be the sharper team two games in a row, particularly playing with no rest on to back-to-back nights.
