Two of the hottest teams in the NHL will clash at Xcel Energy Center Thursday night when the Minnesota Wild will entertain the visiting Vegas Golden Knights.

Minnesota is a solid 19-11-5 at home on the season and it needs this game more than Vegas, sitting just outside playoff position in the Western Conference while the Knights sit top of the Pacific Division.

Additionally, this is a tough spot for the Knights who will play the third game of a four-game road trip while the Wild return home after three straight games away from home.
