The Los Angeles Dodgers recorded 15 hits in their 8-4 victory over Texas at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas Tuesday night, and I think their bats will carry them to another triumph tonight.

Texas left-hander Mike Minor (10-6, 4.40 ERA) is coming off six innings of one-run ball at Oakland, but he gave up four runs in 5 2/3 innings in the Bronx in his las t start prior to that. Dodgers are 8-2 in their last 10 road games vs. a left-handed starter.

LAD left-hander Alex Wood (7-6, 3.60 ERA) will be pitching on three days of extra rest as he last pitched Aug. 20 at home against the Cardinals. Rangers are 0-7 in their last 7 games vs. a left-handed starter.

The Rangers have nothing to play for. They've dropped five of their last seven and are dead last in the AL West while the Dodgers need to go on a run, still sitting third in the tight NL West (one game behind Arizona and Colorado) despite coming off four straight wins.

No brainer play on the better and more motivated team.
