The Houston Astros closed out last week with back-to-back losses at Cleveland (despite scoring 15 runs), but they had won seven of eight prior to that and I think they look good to get back to their winning ways in the Bronx Monday afternoon.

Justin Verlander (6-2, 1.08 ERA) will take the ball for the Astros. Verlander was tagged with three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings in his season debut, but the veteran right-hander has held nine of 10 opponents to one or fewer runs since. The Yankees turn to Domingo German (0-2, 5.59 ERA) who has been slapped around to the tune of 12 runs in 8 2/3 frames in his last two starts combined.

Scoring runs is not an issue for the Astros, and I expect an easy win for the visitors here behind the red hot Justin Verlander and almost equally hot bats. Great price on the Astros and I'm going BIG.
