The Cubs clobbered the Cards 9-1 here at London Stadium on Saturday, and I predict another Cubs win here in the finale of the two-game series across the pond.
Cubs righty Marcus Stroman has a 1-4 record with an ERA of 4.73 in eight starts versus the Cardinals in his career, but he held them to two runs on rou hits over six innings back in May. Stroman is having a great year, coming into this game 9-4 behind a 2.28 ERA. The Cubs have won each of his last seven starts.
Cards left-hander Matthew Liberatore is 1-2 with a 6.12 ERA for the season.
The Cubs are playing some of their best baseball of the season, and I don't see them losing with the solid Stroman on the mound.
