Andrew Triggs (3-1, 4.41 ERA) will take the ball for Oakland. The right-hander struck out nine while holding Baltimore to one run on two hits through seven innings his last time out. He is 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA in two career appearances against the Yankees who turn to Domingo German (0-1, 2.66 ERA). He fanned nine in six hitless innings while throwing a career-high 84 pitches in his first career start Sunday. The 25 year old has struck out 27 through 20 1/3 innings of work on the season.
