The Chicago Cubs enter this contest as losers of three in a row and Friday night's 3-2 loss in the opener of this three-game set marked the ninth straight in which they were held to three or fewer runs.

I like they'll produce a fair amount of runs here against Luke Weaver (2-2, 5.17 ERA) who surrendered six runs in four innings in a loss to the Cubs at Wrigley Field on April 19. The right-hander has faced the Cubs three times in his career and has been lit up for 20 hits and 16 runs over 13 innings for a 13.09 ERA. Tyler Chatwood (2-3, 2.83 ERA) will take the ball for the Cubs. He is coming off seven scoreless innings against Milwaukee and has allowed two or fewer runs in four of his five starts this season. Chatwood is 0-3 with a 6.32 ERA in five games (two starts) against the Cards but limited them to two runs in 4 2/3 innings on April 17.

Cubs are 12-4 in the last 16 meetings between the two NL Central rivals.
