MLB *RUNLINE RIPPER*
(MLB) Chi White Sox vs. St. Louis,
Point Spread: -1.50 | -110.00 St. Louis (Home)
Result: Loss
The St. Louis Cardinals were limited to seven runs while being swept in three straight by the Pirates over the weekend. They're still averaging 4.67 rpg on the season and should have no trouble to get their bats going here against James Shields (1-3, 6.14 ERA). The right-hander was tagged with four runs on six hits and four walks through six innings of a loss to the Mariners his last time out and is 0-1 with an 8.74 ERA, allowing 11 earned runs in 11 1/3 innings in his two career starts against St. Louis.

The Cardinals turn to Michael Wacha (4-1, 3.62 ERA) who has won all three of his starts at home this year, yielding only four runs in 17 2/3 innings.

The White Sox are a pathetic 8-18 on the season (with five wins against KC), and I like the 15-12 Cardinals to win this contest by at least two runs.

8* play on St. Louis Cardinals.
