The Boston Red Sox are on fire and are going for the sweep of this three-game series after outscoring the LA Angels 19-1 through the first two games. They've now scored 84 runs over their last 10 games.

The Halos will send right-hander Nick Tropeano (1-0, 0.00) to the mound in his second regular-season outing since undergoing Tommy John surgery in August 2016. He tossed 6 2/3 innings against KC on April 12, but facing the Red Sox's bats is a whole different story.

The Angels will be in big trouble if Tropeano doesn't deliver. "Our bullpen's been used a lot and we have to get a little bit of length from our starters," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said.

Left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez (1-0, 3.72 ERA) will take the ball for Boston. He held Baltimore to one run and five hits in six innings Friday night and has the current Angels limited to a .176 AVG over 34 at bats.
