SUPER LATE MAVS @ LAKERS NIGHTCRAWLER
(NBA) Dallas vs. LA Lakers,
Point Spread: -3.50 | -110.00 LA Lakers (Home)
Result: Win
The Los Angeles Lakers lost each of their last three games prior to the All Star break, but those were all on the road and they're a solid 14-14 SU (16-12 ATS) home at Staples Center on the season. The skid started with a 130-123 loss at Dallas, but this looks like a good spot for revenge as they'll host a Mavericks side facing several off-court controversies, so the visitors might find it hard to focus on playing basketball at the moment.

Lakes meanwhile must be in a good mood as they hope to have rookie point guard Lonzo Ball back from a sprained ligament in his left knee. Ball returned to practice this week and told reporters after practice Thursday that he still felt "some pain" in the knee but was hopeful he'd be well enough to play Friday night. We can also note that Isaiah Thomas, whom Los Angeles acquired from Cleveland, will play his first game at Staples Center as a member of the Lakers, so he should be fired up to put on a show for the home fans.

Lakers are 8-0 ATS in their last eight home games. Mavericks are 1-10-1 ATS in their last 12 Friday games.

My selection is an 8* play on LA Lakers ATS.
