#NBA FREE PICK FROM MIKE LUNDIN
(NBA) New Orleans vs. New York,
Point Spread: 1.50 | 101.00 New York (Home)
Result: Loss
The New York Knicks are just 1-5 since defeating the Pelicans 105-103 in New Orleans on Dec. 30.

They had been without second-leading scorer Tim Hardaway Jr. for 20 games due to a lower left leg stress injury, but he returned in Friday's 118-108 loss and Minnesota and contributed 16 points in 25 minutes. He should be sharper here in his second game back from the injury, and I think he'll help Kristaps Porzingis lead the Knicks to another triumph over the Pels.

Note that when Hardaway was sidelined in early December, Porzingis was averaging better than 27 points for the season. In the month of January, without Hardaway, he's scored only 19 points per game.

The Knicks have been money at home all season long going 15-8 SU and ATS. They're 10-4 ATS in their last 14 vs. Western Conference teams and they'll face a New Orleans side coming off a 119-113 win over Portland Friday night.

This is not a good spot for the Pels as they're 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up win and 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on one days rest.

My free pick is on New York Knicks.
