AAA's 10* NLDS GOOD OLD FASHIONED BEATDOWN (Dodgers/Cardinals!)
(MLB) LA Dodgers vs. St. Louis,
Money Line: -106.00 LA Dodgers (Away)
Result: Loss
Money Line: -106.00 LA Dodgers (Away)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* BEATDOWN on the LA Dodgers.
This is a great situational play in my opinion, the Dodgers have a back up plan today if their starting pitcher goes south and because of that, I definitely feel the value in this contest is on the visitors. Cardinals' starter John Lackey: "'I want to pitch well this time of year, but things I've done in the past aren't going to help me tomorrow. '' Dodgers' starter Hyun-Jin Ryu: ''It's an honor for them to trust me with this tomorrow,'' Ryu said. ''I don't want to let them down.'' Remember, Ryu threw seven scoreless frames to beat the Cards in Game 3 of the NLCS last year. As mentioned off the top, LA has full confidence in Ryu, but if he falters, then starter Dan Haren is fully prepared to come into this game to take over. This is a crucial and important factor that I feel the oddsmakers are not taking into full consideration here. Lackey is making his first appearance since September 24th. The Cards have gotten the better of the Dodgers the last couple of years, but that just adds fuel to the fire in this one, there's no question that we're getting great value on LA.
