This is an 8* play on the UNDER between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
For a number of different reasons I expect this total to stay below the posted number once the final whistle sounds. Both teams are coming off losses. The Jags haven't won a single game yet this year, but Pittsburgh would drop a frustrating 27-24 setback at home to Tampa Bay last week. The Steelers know they need to clean things up today as they lead the league with 11 penalties. Defensively Pittsburgh has been hit or miss as well, so it went out and brought back five-time Pro Bowler James Harrison. Jacksonville is once again hopeless, this year more so on the offensive side of the ball being outscored 152-41. Rookie Blake Bortles looked good in the first half in last week's 33-14 loss at San Diego, but was pretty pedestrian in the second. Note that Bortles will be without the services of top WR Cecil Shorts III who injured himself in last week's setback (and note that the team was already without receiver Marqise Lee). Note that the total has gone UNDER the number in six of Pittsburgh's last eight on the road. I feel that the situation, the numbers and the trends all point to the UNDER as the sharp wager in this one.
