AAA's ALDS SUPER BLOWOUT *Tigers/Orioles* (Scherzer/Tillman!)
(MLB) Detroit vs. Baltimore,
Money Line: 105.00 Baltimore (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* SUPER BLOWOUT on the Baltimore Orioles.

I think this pitching match-up is a lot closer than what the oddsmakers and the majority of the public believe's and feel the value definitely lies on the undervalued home side. The Orioles possess one of the league's best bullpens, a major factor which will determine success in this series in my opinion. Home field is also an important factor in this best-of-five series. The visitors turn to Max Scherzer (18-5, 3.15 ERA), while the home side sends Chris Tillman (13-6, 3.34 ERA) to the hill. Both teams have potent offensive lineups so we'll call this department a "wash." But as mentioned off the top, I think the home side's adroitness in the bullpen will turn out to be the difference tonight: "We've got a good bullpen, we have a good starting staff," said O's closer Zach Britton last night (note that Britton finished with 37 saves this season). "Anytime there's a close game, we're confident we can pull it out, and we've done that a lot this year." Andrew Miller owns a minuscule 1.35 ERA in 23 game with Baltimore, while Darren O'Day sports a tiny 1.70 ERA. The home side can also turn to the hard-throwing Tommy Hunter who has a 3-2, 2.97 ERA. Conversely, the Tigers are thin after the starting rotation, Joba Chamberlain was 2-5 with four blown saves and a 3.57 ERA, while Joe Nathan was 5-4 with seven blown saves and a ballooned 4.81 ERA. So, there's not much room for error here for Scherzer who will face an offense which led the majors with 211 home runs this year. In my opinion, the value here is simply too good to turn down, all signs point to the ORIOLES as the sharp wager in this contest.
