If USC is going to take the next step as a program, it has to take advantage of these early season games, and hammer their lesser competition over the first three quarters, to give the backups and younger kids some real game time in the fourth, including Malachi Nelson and Miller Moss, among various other high-profile back-ups. It would be a massive wasted opportunity if the Trojans don't approach this game seriously and absolutely lay the hammer down over the first three quarters.
